Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and support cloud and Zero Trust security architectures (Azure, Microsoft 365, and SaaS) and integrate secure-by-design principles.
  • •Configure and deploy security platform capabilities across Microsoft and endpoints, including optimizing CrowdStrike Falcon and Akamai edge protections.
  • •Operate the Microsoft security stack (Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint/Identity/Office/Cloud/Cloud Apps) and manage DLP, insider risk, and SaaS governance (SCIM, OAuth permissions, SSPM).
  • •Integrate telemetry/log sources into SIEM and monitoring ecosystems, and collaborate with the SOC to optimize alerts and reduce false positives.
  • •Conduct security posture evaluations via Microsoft/Azure Secure Score, assess AI governance for use cases (e.g., Copilot and Shadow AI), and advise internal teams plus manage security provider discussions.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated professional experience in cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, or advanced security operations.
  • •Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Defender XDR, Entra ID, Purview, and CrowdStrike Falcon, plus Microsoft Azure and Akamai (WAF/CDN).
  • •Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and SaaS/SSPM governance.
  • •Experience with detection engineering, ransomware/cyber-attack resilience, and relevant frameworks such as NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or aviation-sector regulations.
  • •Risk-based thinking, ability to transition architecture into technical operations, and strong communication with detailed documentation skills.
