Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end global equity settlement process across multiple international markets, partnering with custodians, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
  • •Monitor daily settlement activity, identify transactions at risk of failing, and investigate/resolve settlement exceptions and trade discrepancies.
  • •Manage trade exception handling by resolving settlement instruction discrepancies, quantity/price differences, allocation issues, counterparty booking errors, and FX/market-specific exceptions.
  • •Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across markets and currencies, documenting and resolving reconciliation breaks within service levels.
  • •Ensure operational and regulatory controls (SEC/FINRA), maintain operational records, and drive reporting and process improvements using SQL and reporting tools.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years supporting brokerage operations with a focus on global equity settlements.
  • •Strong understanding of securities settlement lifecycles within a broker-dealer or carrying firm.
