Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead plant operations and maintenance to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient uninterrupted power and water in line with standards and contractual obligations.
  • •Develop and manage the plant strategy, production planning, and operating budget while tracking financial and operational metrics to drive performance improvements.
  • •Manage direct and indirect reports by setting objectives, providing feedback, developing talent, and ensuring workforce requirements and recruiting support.
  • •Provide technical guidance including root-cause analysis for abnormal conditions, guide risk areas to improve long-term reliability, and oversee minor/major plant/process changes safely.
  • •Oversee supply chain and contractor execution, guide SAP implementation across production planning and scheduling, and support Integrated Management System (IMS) objectives, audits, and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree in Engineering.
  • •Minimum 15 years’ experience managing a production plant with operational experience in the power sector.
  • •Strong techno-commercial knowledge of contracts and agreements, with extensive planning and presentation skills.
  • •Extensive leadership skills, including people mentoring, coaching, and talent development.
  • •Deep knowledge of operations in water desalination and power generation plants and NOMAC operations.
