Key Responsibilities

  • •Own application-level infrastructure and reliability end to end for a high-traffic commerce domain, from deploy pipelines and Kubernetes manifests to SLOs, capacity planning, and production readiness.
  • •Partner with product development teams to bring reliability considerations into design decisions early and ensure production-ready deployments.
  • •Design and operate observability for critical services, including monitors, dashboards, SLIs/SLOs, alerts, and OpenTelemetry-based instrumentation.
  • •Drive incident response and reliability improvements through deep investigation, post-mortems, and maintaining runbooks.
  • •Build and evolve automation and CI/CD reliability tooling (deploy/rollback helpers) and run production readiness reviews and performance/capacity work for major changes.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of proven SRE/DevOps/platform engineering experience, including on-call/incident response, SLO/monitoring ownership, and deploy pipeline/infrastructure work for production services.
  • •Comfort reading application code and building production-quality automation in at least one language (e.g., Go, PHP).
  • •Hands-on Kubernetes experience with Helm, manifests, deploy strategies, and debugging (GKE or similar managed Kubernetes).
  • •Strong observability practice: build monitors/dashboards and SLOs/SLIs using modern tooling (Datadog preferred; Prometheus/Grafana and OpenTelemetry).
  • •Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt), GCP (IAM/networking/managed services), and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI and/or GitHub Actions).
