Job Summary

Develop new business and grow an existing commercial loan portfolio by underwriting, structuring, and closing loans. Manage client relationships through outreach, networking, and warm/cold prospect calls, while responding to client account requests. Collect and analyze financial data to assess creditworthiness, prepare loan documentation and memos for approval, and coordinate timely closing and funding in compliance with applicable regulations.

•Develop new business and maintain/serve an existing portfolio of commercial loans.
•Underwrite, structure, and oversee the timely closing and funding of loans.
•Evaluate client needs and offer appropriate financial products, services, and loans; cross-sell as appropriate.
•Gather and analyze financial data, prepare loan memos and documents, and ensure completeness and accuracy for loan approval.
•Participate in community and networking activities and conduct warm and cold prospect calls to meet call and growth goals.

•Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of banking or financial services experience.
•Experience working directly with customers across roles, from support staff to business owners and managers.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated experience engaging decision makers and influencers.
•Ability to prepare and coordinate proposals and work through the underwriting process.
•Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and ability to stay organized and multitask.
