Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage daily execution of the Databricks migration workstream across planning, POC, conversion, validation, deployment, hypercare, and ramp-down activities.
  • •Own project governance cadence, sprint planning coordination, issue escalation, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • •Coordinate onsite and offshore resource allocation, onboarding readiness, and work distribution including ramp-up/ramp-down planning.
  • •Maintain the migration backlog, delivery plan, action item tracker, RAID log, and milestone-level progress reporting.
  • •Ensure delivery lifecycle adherence (Discover, Convert, Validate, Deploy) and oversee knowledge transition, operational handoff, final delivery summary, and closure of governance items.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years managing enterprise cloud data migration programs, preferably with Snowflake and Databricks (and/or Azure), data warehouse modernization, or lakehouse implementations.
  • •Strong understanding of Agile delivery, sprint planning coordination, RAID management, resource planning, and onsite/offshore coordination.
  • •Ability to manage dependencies across architecture, engineering, QA, security, release management, and client business teams.
  • •Experience with migration governance, stakeholder reporting, and executive-level communication.
  • •Familiarity with migration lifecycle governance (Discover, Convert, Validate, Deploy) and change request coordination for staffing, scope, rate card, timeline, or phase allocation.
