Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate ODM/JDM schematic designs and PCB layouts to identify and resolve design flaws that reduce quality risks.
  • •Review mechanical structures and industrial housing designs, collaborate with engineering teams on reliability, and approve critical mechanical decisions.
  • •Scrutinize electrical/electronic/mechanical BOMs for critical components to ensure compliance with product lifespans and operating environments.
  • •Define and audit hardware and mechanical test schemes with vendors to enforce strict quality control for mass production.
  • •Coordinate regulatory and lifecycle documentation through NPI gates, including maintaining design documentation and supporting certification compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of direct hardware or mechanical design experience across the full product lifecycle (concept to mass production).
  • •5+ years of high-reliability industrial design experience for 5G/LTE routers, network switches, IP phones, and IP cameras (desirable).
  • •3+ years of experience managing new product development with a focus on product reliability and cross-functional execution.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering (EE), or Mechanical Engineering; master’s degree or higher preferred.
  • •Proficiency in EDA software, SolidWorks, and engineering simulation/modeling tools; strong vendor auditing and technical decision-making skills.
