Job Summary

Advise on AFC legal and regulatory matters for Bitpanda’s institutional and enterprise partnerships across multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities

•Provide practical AFC legal and regulatory advisory for Bitpanda Enterprise partnerships across B2B, B2B2B, and B2B2C contexts with banks, financial institutions, fintechs, and enterprise clients.
•Represent Bitpanda in legal and regulatory discussions, support enterprise due diligence, and respond to legal/compliance questionnaires and regulatory queries.
•Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements (including partnership, technology, API, outsourcing, licensing, confidentiality, and other contractual arrangements) while balancing AFC risks with commercial objectives.
•Support product and service development by assessing legal and regulatory implications and collaborating with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Engineering to enable compliant and scalable solutions.
•Monitor and interpret developments in financial services and digital asset regulation, translate requirements into guidance, identify AFC risks, and contribute to governance frameworks.

Key Requirements

•University degree in Law (highly desirable) or equivalent professional experience drafting and reviewing commercial and partnership documentation in a regulated environment.
•Experience supporting regulated financial services, fintech, banking, payments, digital assets, or similar industries in a legal, compliance, regulatory, or commercial advisory capacity.
•Familiarity with European financial services regulation, including areas such as MiCAR, MiFID, PSD2/PSD3, AML/CFT, or outsourcing requirements.
•Ability to balance legal and regulatory considerations with business objectives and provide practical, solution-oriented advice.
•Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German, with professional proficiency in German required.
