Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of high-quality code across the data platform
•Collaborate actively with global teams across multiple time zones, ensuring alignment and continuity
•Support platform capabilities for data cataloging, analytics, and ETL/ELT pipelines
•Assist in identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing improvements with guidance from senior engineers
•Build and support services that handle structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data (audio, video, text, images)
•Participate in on-call rotation for production support and help troubleshoot critical issues
•Contribute to platform documentation and maintain clarity for internal consumers
•Present work in team demos and represent engineering contributions in internal discussions
•Follow best practices in testing, monitoring, and deployment to ensure platform reliability
•Continuously learn and apply new tools, patterns, and technologies in the data platform space

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,100 - 225,100 annually

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience developing scalable, distributed systems
•Proficient in at least one language: Scala, Java, or Python
•Experience building or maintaining cloud-based applications/services (AWS preferred, GCP is a plus)
•Exposure to event streaming platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, or SQS and Data Ingestion
•Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Apache Flink
