Job Summary

Provide independent design support for HVAC and refrigeration product development projects, collaborating with design and product engineers across teams. Lead sheet metal and casting part design, producing layouts, sketches, and detailed drawings, while maintaining engineering documentation, bills of material, and change notices. Support production parts, develop DFMEA and DVP&R, and perform VAVE feasibility studies. Drive quality (100% QDC) and communicate effectively across partners.

Key Responsibilities

•Support design engineering projects independently and collaborate with design and product engineers.
•Perform sheet metal and casting part design, preparing layouts, concept designs, sketches, and detailed drawings.
•Maintain engineering documentation, bills of material, and change notices.
•Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams and project partners for ongoing design support.
•Develop DFMEA and DVP&R, conduct VAVE feasibility studies, and support current production parts and products while delivering 100% QDC.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
•7-9 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
•Hands-on experience with Creo, Wind-chill, and Team Center.
•Strong knowledge of sheet metal, casting, and machining design plus manufacturing processes.
•Good knowledge of tolerance stack-up and analysis, and experience with DFMEA and DVP&R (preferred).
