Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist project setup by agreeing drawing strategy, drawing types/sizes, and drawing numbering with the project lead; suggest drawing production methods.
  • •Agree priorities and deadlines for drawing production with the Project Lead.
  • •Develop general arrangement drawings from engineer sketches and other design team drawings, and convert sketches into coordinated details.
  • •Ensure drawings and presentation materials are clear, complete, and accurate, adhering to prescribed drafting standards and procedures.
  • •Follow QA, document control, archiving, and CDM guidelines; work with project team members on specified aspects and perform assigned tasks in line with experience and discipline.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate of a technical course or have at least three (3) years in a BS Engineering or BS Architecture program.
  • •3–7 years of relevant civil drafting experience.
  • •Experience working on projects using CAD support as part of a wider CAD team.
  • •Knowledge of drafting software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and ProjectWise.
  • •Proficiency in Civil 3D (advantage), preferably with experience on Australian projects.
