Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot, perform failure investigations, and drive corrective actions for Starshield production non-conforming hardware.
•Analyze failures using design schematics, test equipment, and inspection processes to identify underlying failure physics.
•Contain suspect/non-conforming products and provide regular updates to technicians, production leadership, and engineering to support quarantine and rework.
•Improve product yield and reliability using data-driven decisions with yield and defect monitoring to identify common failure modes.
•Collaborate with on-orbit reliability and test engineers to close the feedback loop, improve test assets, and mentor more junior engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or a related engineering discipline.
•5+ years in hardware development, failure analysis, or reliability engineering.
•2+ years using electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters, signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers) to verify hardware functionality.
•Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.
•Experience troubleshooting and root-casing electrical hardware failures.
