Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and approve global promotional and non-promotional materials/activities within assigned therapeutic areas, applying medical governance and ensuring quality and compliance.
  • •Provide medical, scientific, and regulatory guidance to commercial teams on disease and product claims, ensuring information is medically accurate and consistent with the product label.
  • •Develop and maintain advanced therapeutic area knowledge (pathophysiology, diagnosis, drug therapy, standards of care, competitive landscape, and patient outcomes) and act as escalation point for complex inquiries.
  • •Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs Leads and Medical Directors to align nonpromotional materials with medical strategy, and guide junior team members and/or vendors.
  • •Maintain departmental policies, SOPs, working practice documents (WPDs), and work instructions (WIs), and lead medical information booth activities at scientific meetings including staffing, resources, and post-congress reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced scientific degree in pharmacy (PharmD) or related science (PhD, MD, MSc) with minimum 5 years medical information, medical affairs or relevant experience in pharma/biotech.
  • •At least 3 years of relevant experience reviewing and approving local/regional promotional and/or nonpromotional materials.
  • •Experience with drug development and health authority regulations and reporting requirements.
  • •Experience developing medical information response documents using regulatory label, published medical literature, clinical study reports, posters, and abstracts.
  • •Strong collaboration and influencing skills with excellent written and verbal communication; high proficiency in literature searching and Microsoft Office Suite.
