Key Responsibilities

•Anticipate and respond to guests’ needs while suggesting and taking beverage and menu orders.
•Answer guest questions, make recommendations, and up-sell liquors; communicate drink orders to the bar via the Point of Sales system.
•Deliver drinks and move through large crowds while maintaining atmosphere control throughout your shift.
•Remove dirty glasses/dishes, keep tables clean, and clean spills and obstacles using proper lifting techniques.
•Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance and House of Blues policies, request ID for guests under 30, and refuse service to intoxicated guests when needed.

Key Requirements

•Ability to work late hours and maintain a flexible schedule.
•Working knowledge of cocktail tray service, basic food service, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes and garnishes, and point of sales systems.

•Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms.
•Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification (or equivalent).
