Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical assurance across transmission projects, supporting development, review, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of high-voltage assets.
  • •Review detailed designs against functional requirements, standard designs, client specifications, and relevant national and international standards.
  • •Manage technical queries through the project lifecycle to ensure efficient resolution, proper documentation, and alignment with standards and policies.
  • •Undertake site inspection and monitoring to confirm construction progress aligns with approved designs and standards.
  • •Support pre-commissioning and commissioning inspections and represent clients in reviews, technical assessments, audits, factory acceptance tests, and approval forums as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • •Strong transmission engineering knowledge, including experience assessing onshore substation designs for 110 kV, 220 kV, and 400 kV compliance.
  • •Experience across substations, overhead lines, and cables, with working knowledge of relevant standards.
  • •Ability to assess project designs and construction/commissioning phases against functional, technical, operational, and safety requirements.
  • •Understanding of design deliverables such as single line diagrams, substation layouts, protection schematics, and interlocking documentation.
