Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage project proposals by defining requirements, scope, resources, programme, and cost estimates (budgets).
  • •Own the project P&L with commercial and financial accountability, including revenue delivery, margins, overheads, risk/opportunity reviews, and cost controls.
  • •Develop project management documentation (plans, estimates/forecasts, risk registers, schedules, stakeholder registers, organisation charts) to meet project objectives.
  • •Monitor and control project schedules, manhours, budgets, forecasts, and expenditure.
  • •Ensure effective contract management (administration and change management) and lead multi-disciplinary project teams, promoting health and safety and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects, ideally with exposure to the regulated water industry or non-regulated water projects.
  • •Working knowledge or accreditation in NEC-supported contracts, with practical skills to administer NEC Contracts.
  • •Membership of a relevant professional institution such as APM, PMI, or MICE.
  • •Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • •Demonstrated competence in stakeholder management, risk, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.
