Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively identify operational, performance, security, and availability constraints and bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • •Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot platform outages, support onboarding, and develop actions that strengthen service reliability.
  • •Support application teams in delivering highly available services, including participation in 24x7 on-call production support.
  • •Manage CI pipelines in GitLab and deployments to AWS through Jenkins, progressing delivery toward continuous deployment.
  • •Design, build, implement, and support platform solutions using AWS and other cloud technologies, with ownership from design through operation.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of relevant technology experience, including at least 3 years working with AWS and services such as EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, S3, and RDS.
  • •Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and CloudFormation, plus infrastructure configuration tools such as Chef.
  • •Working knowledge of Git, including branching models and merge strategies, and experience supporting CI/CD engineering practices.
  • •Working knowledge of PowerShell/PowerShell Core for automation to improve operational efficiency and platform consistency.
  • •Ability to analyze issues, collaborate across engineering teams, and drive resolutions that improve platform reliability.
