Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and continuously improve site-specific EHS programs using the SBD EHS management system.
  • •Ensure EHS standards across ISO 45001/14001/50001 and safety topics including hazard substances, electrical safety, PPE, ergonomics, emergency, and waste management.
  • •Build a positive EHS culture and advise/support leadership on occupational safety and environmental protection.
  • •Lead risk assessments and support training, audits, inspections, and accident investigations.
  • •Ensure legal compliance, maintain proper EHS documentation and reporting, and manage EHS budgeting, resources, and cost control.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, occupational health and safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, or a comparable field.
  • •5 to 10 years of relevant experience in occupational, health, and environmental protection.
  • •Completed qualification as a safety officer (Sicherheitsfachkraft) per §5 ASiG.
  • •Experience in production environments, ideally in an industrial setting.
  • •Fluent German and good English skills in speaking and writing.
