Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide the full breadth of personal financial counseling services to service members and their families at assigned military installations.
  • •Assist service members with establishing spending plans for extended absences.
  • •Develop and provide informational financial materials to service members and families.
  • •Coordinate and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle, including responding to requests for age-appropriate classes.
  • •Communicate with leadership and participate in supervision, training/in-services, quality improvement committees, and other assigned activities.

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree plus 4 years of experience, or a high school diploma plus 6 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •If required by the contract, be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • •Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation; must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification.
