Job Summary

Maintain Gulf Air and approved third-party aircraft in line with the maintenance schedule, performing routine and non-routine checks across A&C and Avionics where applicable. Ensure on-time departures after maintenance, support schedule changes at short notice, and travel for aircraft recovery during AOG situations. Keep station manuals and technical publications up to date, manage bonded stores, provide accurate debriefs to Maintenance Control Centre, and deputize for the Station Engineer when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out routine and non-routine maintenance of Gulf Air aircraft within the scope of approval, including A&C and Avionics.
•Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on third-party aircraft for which the jobholder holds type approval, including A&C and Avionics.
•Ensure on-time departures after completion of relevant scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks.
•Travel when required for aircraft recovery during AOG and act as a flying spanner for pre-departure checks.
•Maintain station manuals/technical publications, keep bonded stores and the station “impress” up to date, debrief Maintenance Control Centre, and deputize for the Station Engineer when needed.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Minimum five years’ experience on aircraft maintenance, including at least 3 years as a certifying engineer.
•Must hold an Aircraft Engineer License recognized by the Authority and Gulf Air Technical Quality Department.
•Have a minimum of one or two aircraft type(s) with the required license/type approval.
•Ability to carry out routine and non-routine maintenance within the scope of approval, including A&C and Avionics.
•Ability to ensure accurate, timely debriefs to the Maintenance Control Centre regarding technical delays and defect rectification.

Experience:5+ years
