Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Director of Sales – MICE in managing the department, especially during the Director’s absence.
  • •Attend meetings and client events in the Director’s absence; represent the Director as needed.
  • •Receive, qualify, and coordinate event and group requests (including leads and RFPs), following Kempinski SOPs from enquiry to contracting.
  • •Ensure effective utilization of meeting and conference rooms; conduct site inspections with potential clients in coordination with Field Sales.
  • •Manage proposals and contracts, follow up within 24 hours, handle handovers (including BEO/group resume/floor plan/change log/VIP alerts), and follow contract/deposit/cancellation terms per policy.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment with excellent oral and written skills (as applicable).
  • •Excellent oral and written English skills.
  • •Direct receipt, qualification, and coordination of event & group requests (including leads and RFPs) as guided by a supervisor.
  • •Apply Kempinski Group & Events SOPs from group enquiry through contracting.
  • •Accurately input, supervise, and maintain requests in the Opera S&C system according to data input standards.
