Job Summary

Support the sales organization in a defined territory by acting as the main technical resource during pre-sales lead qualification and sales calls. Serve as the lead technical contact for identified accounts post-sales, working closely with technical support and engineering to resolve customer technical issues. Assist customers with post-sales training and provide expert guidance on integrations and networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Pre-sales: assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
•Support sales calls as the main technical resource, answering and educating customers on features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
•Provide expertise on networking applications and solutions.
•Post-sales: serve as the lead technical contact for identified accounts, working with technical support and engineering to answer, elevate, and resolve technical issues.
•Assist identified customers with post-sales training.

Key Requirements

•Field sales experience.
•Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
•Experience administering LAN/WAN/Internet services.
•Experience with wireless technologies, including deploying, supporting, and conducting site surveys.
•Strong understanding of networking and authentication technologies, including DNS; RADIUS/PKI/IKE/certificates; and protocols such as L2TP, IPSEC, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
