Job Summary

Drainage Engineers and Designers will join the Southeast Transportation team to work on large Design/Build and alternative delivery projects, contributing to highway drainage design, stormwater quantity control, hydrology, ditch design, and bridge deck drainage. Use Bentley MicroStation/Open Roads on mega-projects, collaborating across levels in a hybrid office/remote setting.

Job Function: Design (Product/UX/UI/Visual)

Key Responsibilities

•Support drainage design for highway projects, including storm drain design, cross culvert analysis, hydrology, ditch design, and bridge deck drainage
•Collaborate on large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects and mega-projects
•Work with Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads to produce design documentation
•Prepare and review design calculations and drawings for transportation drainage systems
•Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver sustainable drainage solutions

Key Requirements

•CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Preferred Qualifications: EIT Certification or PE License; State DOT experience
