Job Summary

Install and support building automation and temperature control systems for customer sites. Interpret control drawings, plans, and specifications using hand tools to run wiring, enclosures, conduits, and end devices. Prepare for onsite work, coordinate with other trades, maintain inventory/equipment records, and complete daily paperwork. Serve as direct customer contact by troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing equipment and systems, and staying current on direct digital control installations. Includes regular travel with occasional overnight stays.

•High school diploma or equivalent, with typically 2–5 years of experience in HVAC/controls (technical school/formal training preferred).
•Knowledge of low voltage electricity, electronics troubleshooting, direct digital controls, and building control techniques.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency using handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Current or future participation in an ABC electrical apprenticeship program is desired.
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations.
