Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide U.S. food labeling guidance across Regulatory Affairs, Nutrition, Legal, Government Affairs, Marketing, and Product Development.
  • •Review and approve product artwork, packaging, and labeling materials for compliance with FDA, USDA FSIS, and company requirements.
  • •Develop and maintain mandatory label content including ingredient statements, allergen declarations, nutrition facts panels, claims, net weight statements, and product naming.
  • •Evaluate labeling claims and marketing language, and research/interpret current and emerging labeling regulations and industry trends.
  • •Support launches, renovations, and packaging changes; obtain USDA FSIS label approvals/temporary approvals/extensions as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • •Experience reviewing food packaging/artwork and product claims for regulatory compliance.
