Key Responsibilities

•Anticipate and respond to guests’ needs; take orders and suggestively sell beverages and menu items.
•Answer guest questions, make recommendations, up-sell liquors, and communicate drink orders to the bar via the Point of Sale system.
•Deliver drinks through large crowds; maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating during shifts.
•Maintain table cleanliness, remove dirty glasses/dishes, and clean spills or obstacles using proper lifting techniques.
•Check IDs for guests who appear under 30, provide responsible alcohol service, refuse service to overly intoxicated guests, and process payments.

Key Requirements

•Ability to work late hours and be available on average 3 shifts per week (open Tuesday–Sunday).
•Working knowledge of cocktail tray service, basic food service, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes and garnishes, and Point of Sale systems.
•3 years of work experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
•Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification (or equivalent).
•Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety-minded manner.
