Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and execute SSD validation test plans, test cases, and automation content for firmware validation.
  • •Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, system-level, performance, reliability, and customer qualification requirements.
  • •Validate SSD firmware against NVMe, PCIe, OCP Cloud SSD, and customer-specific specifications.
  • •Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and systems teams to identify, debug, and resolve product issues; analyze results and communicate risks.
  • •Support customer qualification activities, reproduce customer-reported issues, and drive issues to closure with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

  • •4–10 years of experience in embedded firmware, storage systems, SSD validation, or related engineering fields.
  • •Strong knowledge of SSD architecture and NVMe/PCIe technologies, storage systems, and validation methodologies.
  • •Hands-on experience debugging NVMe/SAS protocol issues using LeCroy, JDSU, or similar protocol analyzers.
  • •Experience developing validation plans covering I/O workloads, NVMe protocols, endurance, reliability, and media management testing.
  • •Strong programming/scripting skills in Python and experience creating and maintaining automated test frameworks.
