Job Summary

Repair and maintain a range of construction and heavy equipment, including trucks, trailers, batch plants, paving machines, and engines. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, perform preventative maintenance, service systems like oil/grease and fluids, and rebuild defective components. In addition, you’ll manage parts ordering and paperwork (purchase orders/invoices) and keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot equipment problems and make economical, durable repairs.
•Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
•Maintain and repair heavy equipment, trucks, shop equipment, and non-mobile equipment.
•Service vehicles/equipment including oil changes, greasing, adding fluids, changing filters, and performing preventative maintenance; troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel/gasoline engines, transmissions, and drive trains.
•Order parts and supplies; maintain purchase orders and invoices; operate computer for job functions.

Key Requirements
