Key Responsibilities

•Supervise and provide leadership for safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement.
•Ensure the Canfor Operating System (COS) is followed, with emphasis on abnormality response.
•Ensure safe and efficient handling and storage of log inventory and manage the log quality program.
•Maintain weigh scale and scaling practices, ensure an adequate log diet, and maintain log yard/waste yards per the Environment Management System.
•Supervise log yard and mobile shop employees and oversee site and environmental compliance with Ministry of Environment and Worksafe BC regulations.
