Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and oversee day-to-day construction activities for substations (up to 765 kV), transmission lines, and renewable integration infrastructure.
  • •Coordinate with Electrical, Civil & Structural, and I&C Heads to ensure seamless integration of substation systems, transmission line works, and control & protection systems.
  • •Oversee readiness and commissioning activities for all systems, including testing and handover to operations.
  • •Work with Project Controls to track progress against schedules, monitor critical paths, and prepare progress reports and forecasts.
  • •Enforce Quality Management Systems (QMS) and HSE plans; lead safety audits, PTW, and NCR closure; ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, IS, and client specs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred) plus PMP certification
  • •15+ years of experience in power transmission, substations, and renewable energy projects
  • •Proven PMC/Owner’s Engineer experience on large-scale infrastructure projects
  • •Strong exposure to EHV/UHV/HVDC systems (up to 220 kV–765 kV), GIS/AIS substations, and renewable integration
  • •Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and multi-disciplinary coordination capabilities
