Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and qualify assigned semiconductor manufacturing equipment; improve uptime, reliability, capability, and overall performance.
  • •Perform root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions; define and improve preventative maintenance, recovery, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • •Support manufacturing and process teams by responding to equipment issues and production priorities; resolve equipment-related defects with process owners and sustaining engineering.
  • •Use equipment performance data to create automated reports, dashboards, and visualizations; apply statistical analysis and AI-assisted methods to improve troubleshooting and predictive maintenance.
  • •Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, installations, relocations, and equipment/tool evaluations with technicians, engineers, vendors, and operations teams; document and train on procedures and lessons learned.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree in engineering or related technical degree with 2+ years of semiconductor industry experience, or an Associate Degree/equivalent with 5+ years of relevant semiconductor manufacturing equipment experience.
  • •Troubleshooting experience with complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • •Knowledge of equipment systems including electrical, mechanical, chemical, optical, vacuum, RF, robotic, automation, software, and firmware.
  • •Experience with structured problem-solving methods such as FMEA, 8D, Six Sigma, or equivalent.
  • •Strong analytical and organizational skills to collect, interpret, and communicate technical data, and to coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, and facility activities.
