Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end integration of automated security requirements and validation tooling into high-velocity engineering pipelines.
  • •Build internal tooling and automated controls that replace manual security checkpoints to protect development velocity.
  • •Partner with SRE and DevOps to establish secure public cloud architecture blueprints, enforce network isolation, and manage IaC security scanning.
  • •Design and deploy AI/LLM-driven security review workflows for real-time code analysis, including protections against LLM-specific risks.
  • •Embed with engineering and infrastructure teams to build security in from day one, provide expert guidance, and mentor junior engineers.

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • •5–8 years of progressive engineering experience across Application Security and Cloud Architecture Defence.
  • •Proven ability to independently run deep manual code and configuration reviews beyond automated scanning.
  • •Deep practical knowledge of AWS (or similar cloud), containerisation/orchestration, network security controls, and high-velocity GitLab CI pipelines.
  • •Expert understanding of OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and applied cryptography, including Zero Trust IAM patterns and federated authentication (OAuth2, SAML, OIDC).
