Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the architecture, design, and evolution of interoperability solutions spanning multiple healthcare systems.
  • •Build and maintain integration services across HL7 v2, FHIR, CDA/CCDA, X12/EDI, REST, and SOAP, using Python/Go/Java.
  • •Drive reliability and operational excellence for production integrations, including retries, idempotent processing, monitoring/alerting, auditing, and incident root-cause analysis.
  • •Define SLIs/SLOs and optimize performance, cost, and disaster recovery for high-volume healthcare transaction processing.
  • •Mentor engineers and partner cross-functionally with Product, Implementation, R&D, QA, and Customer Success to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise integrations or healthcare interoperability solutions.
  • •Hands-on expertise with HL7 v2, FHIR, CDA/CCDA, X12/EDI, and healthcare messaging workflows.
  • •Experience with integration engines such as Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, Corepoint, or similar platforms.
  • •Strong backend skills in Python, Go, or Java, plus SQL and relational database experience (query optimization, stored procedures, data modeling, ETL).
  • •Experience designing RESTful APIs and SOAP services, and building/operating cloud-native systems on AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
