Key Responsibilities

  • •Support internal additive manufacturing lab capabilities by managing and executing end-to-end AM prototype part workflows, including troubleshooting and material handling.
  • •Connect internal customers to external suppliers for manufacturing and procurement of AM and traditionally manufactured parts to support development and proof activities.
  • •Use CREO CAD for modeling and documentation creation, and release documents in the Product Data Management (PDM) system.
  • •Support end-to-end rapid prototyping from requirements to design, procurement, fabrication, integration, and test.
  • •Perform 3D scanning for hardware measurement, inspection, reverse engineering, and 3D documentation applications.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Engineering Science or related (STEM) major obtained by the start date.
  • •Experience with 3D modeling CAD tools and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) methods.
  • •Experience reading mechanical fabrication and assembly drawings.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • •U.S. citizenship required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
