Job Summary

Plan and perform repair work on complex equipment used in powdered metals manufacturing, including setup, troubleshooting, servicing, and bench repairs to tight tolerances. Support preventive maintenance schedules, continuous improvement initiatives, and CORE/EH&S efforts. Read and interpret wiring schematics, perform check/layout with inspection tools, maintain logs and spare parts coordination, and ensure safe operation while working an 8th-shift onsite schedule.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up, repair, and service equipment used in powdered metals manufacturing to meet customer requirements.
•Perform repairs on complex powder manufacturing equipment and restore parts via bench repair to defined criteria.
•Carry out preventive maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
•Service and repair equipment involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and high press gas systems.
•Maintain logs/records, interface with the stock room for spare parts, and support CORE and EH&S requirements while wearing required PPE.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
•Associates degree or 3-5 years of industrial electrical and electronics trade skills, certification, or equivalent (preferred).
•Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics (preferred).
•Good mechanical aptitude and strong attendance record.
•Ability to wear a respirator and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds.
