Job Summary

Lead and manage a team of ~12 industrial engineers supporting Raytheon factories in McKinney, TX across the Surveillance portfolio. Oversee industrial engineering planning and execution to improve throughput, efficiency, and cost, using Lean/Six Sigma, factory modeling, and discrete-event simulation. Partner with cross-functional teams to align roadmaps and investments, develop KPIs, support proposals and new production contracts, and present data-driven updates to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage a team of ~12 industrial engineers, including hiring, staffing, goal setting, coaching, performance evaluations, and timecard/expense approvals.
•Oversee industrial engineering project planning and execution to improve manufacturing processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
•Develop KPIs and performance indicators to improve cost, quality, and schedule outcomes; align resource plans and throughput constraints with forecasted demand.
•Lead Lean transformation initiatives and factory modeling using process flows, value stream maps, Pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, capacity analyses, discrete-event simulations, and CAD-based layouts.
•Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities across programs and sites; provide oversight for IE support to proposals and new production contracts and deliver data-driven updates to senior leadership.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or 5 years with a master’s degree in a similar discipline.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (or similar) and the ability to obtain required clearances.
•Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date.
•Experience applying industrial engineering tools and methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing, capacity modeling, facility design, and process optimization.
•Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams to achieve measurable manufacturing results.
