Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor coding staff performance using metrics (daily coding volume, assignments, deadlines, and coding accuracy) to maintain a 95% coding quality accuracy rate.
  • •Review production and quality accuracy reporting/system reports for assigned projects and share feedback on progress.
  • •Escalate production and QA concerns/roadblocks to the manager and coordinate with training to communicate team progress.
  • •Coach and mentor coders to improve quality and professionalism; conduct monthly team meetings and annual performance evaluations.
  • •Maintain attendance and timesheets and complete special projects such as full coding audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate or post graduate in Life Science, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Zoology, or Microbiology.
  • •5+ years of industry experience.
  • •CPC (Certified Coding Professional) and/or CCS (Certified Coding Specialist).
  • •Deep understanding of production and quality assurance medical coding processes and guidelines (e.g., EM OP, IP, ED Profee Facility, Obgyn).
  • •Strong communication skills and ability to provide training, coaching, and regular feedback to team members.
