Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and lead one or more cross-discipline Project Controls teams on high-risk, high-complexity, high-value projects or programmes.
  • •Define scope using exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, and dependencies, and coordinate decomposition to establish a Work Breakdown Structure.
  • •Establish and manage the Performance Measurement Baseline and run the change control process with the Integrated Project Team.
  • •Integrate scope/cost/risk/schedule alignment and analyze performance data using Earned Value Management to support delivery decisions.
  • •Ensure effective governance, assure output quality and integrity, and mentor/coaching team members and stakeholders while driving process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be a SOLE UK National who is able to achieve and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC).
  • •Proven track record delivering projects in highly regulated sectors such as defence or infrastructure.
  • •Project Controls experience across the whole project lifecycle, including two or more disciplines (Planning/Scheduling, Cost Estimation, Cost Control, Risk Management, or Performance Reporting) and associated tools.
  • •Proven experience establishing Project Controls organisations and building teams, with an advanced understanding of integrated project controls across operating models.
  • •Undergraduate degree in a relevant technical or management field (or suitable equivalent experience/qualifications) and membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., APM or PMI).
