Job Summary

Act as the key day-to-day client interface on a large-scale data center construction program, delivering value-added cost management across multiple projects and delivery phases. Lead estimating, cost planning, change order negotiation, cost checks/valuations, and post-contract commercial administration. Coordinate inputs from design teams, trade partners, and contractors, produce executive reviews and monthly reporting, and apply internal systems for margin and financial tracking while supporting engineering priorities and value engineering workshops.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the client’s day-to-day interface on a data center construction program, delivering cost management across projects and delivery phases.
•Estimate and negotiate change orders across the construction lifecycle, including mission-critical systems and infrastructure packages.
•Produce and present cost plans through design phases, manage cost checks/valuations, and support post-contract cost management and change control.
•Review and coordinate inputs from design teams, trade partners, suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accurate cost and quantity data aligned to program objectives.
•Prepare written executive reviews and monthly cost reports/forecasts, support funding and value engineering workshops, and mentor/identify talent.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
•5-7+ years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial management within construction.
•Experience leading cost management for medium to large-scale, moderately to highly complex construction projects, preferably mission-critical/data center or infrastructure.
•Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, cost planning, value management, value engineering, and commercial risk management.
•RICS accreditation (or progress toward chartership) is preferred; excellent communication and stakeholder/client-facing skills are required.
