Job Summary

Lead complex piping engineering efforts across conceptual, FEED, and detailed design phases, working to project specifications, design codes, and standards. Develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for the most challenging technical problems, and forecast/plans resources and execution. When acting as Lead Engineer, direct engineering teams, manage discipline scope and deliverables, oversee interfaces, and train/mentor engineers and designers.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed piping analyses and design per design basis, specifications, codes, and standards.
•Develop creative, innovative, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for complex technical problems.
•As Lead Engineer, direct large engineering teams, lead discipline engineering design, plan/organize execution (scope, deliverables, schedule, workforce), and identify corrective actions.
•Specify piping materials, manage piping requisitions and evaluations, prepare technical bid evaluations, and produce piping MTO and material control reports.
•Provide advanced pipe stress calculations and design pipe supports, coordinate interfaces with other disciplines, and supervise/train engineers and designers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering.
•20+ years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant performing detail design.
•Detailed knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods, and theory/content/application of standards, codes, and guidelines.
•Knowledge of project coordination and execution skills, including leading most unique and complex problems.
•Good working knowledge of English (oral and written) and focus on HSE, TQM, and cost-conscious work.
