Job Summary

Serve as the technical liaison between sales and engineering, presenting and demoing Harness’s AI-Native DevSecOps platform for Application Security Testing and Runtime Protection. Lead security-focused evaluations through workshops and POVs, evangelize AppSec and API/AI Security capabilities (SCA, SAST, DAST, runtime protection), and translate customer security and compliance needs into technical solutions across the end-to-end DevSecOps pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver platform presentations and demos focused on Application Security Testing and Runtime Protection within the DevSecOps landscape.
•Evangelize Harness AI-Native DevSecOps capabilities, including AppSec and API/AI Security features such as SCA, SAST, DAST, and runtime protection.
•Connect business security and compliance problems to technical solutions across the end-to-end DevSecOps pipeline.
•Drive complex technical engagements (e.g., workshops and POVs) to prove value securing the SDLC from code to operation, including API and AI workflows.

Key Requirements

•Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS/software sales in DevSecOps or Cybersecurity, or strong practitioner experience with the software evaluation and buying process.
•Hands-on experience with modern application security practices and tools such as API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, and SCA (or similar technologies).
•Knowledge of cloud-native application security and understanding of security risks tied to GenAI integration.
•Ability to convey complex customer security requirements and feature requests to Engineering.
•Willingness and ability to travel occasionally on short notice for customer engagements, internal meetings, or conferences.
