Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete surface plate work and inspection of machined aerospace parts to drawing and work order specifications.
  • •Perform complex inspections using standardized methods, including in-process visual and/or dimensional inspection.
  • •Create, maintain, and verify CMM programs used to measure manufactured and supplied parts.
  • •Document non-conformances and perform documentation review and verification of certifications, specifications, and conformance.
  • •Interact with production to improve products, resolve quality issues, and support quality management system policies and continual improvement/lean initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •2+ years of quality inspection experience.
  • •Ability to review drawings and identify improper callouts/datum structures per ASME Y14.5.
  • •Thorough understanding of layout inspection tools (surface plate, height gage, indicators, calipers, micrometers, gage blocks, thread gages, etc.).
  • •Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted and stand for extended periods.
