Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the next-generation GPU-native CT image-reconstruction platform in C++ and CUDA under the guidance of senior engineers.
•Implement signal- and image-processing algorithms in efficient, high-performance code in collaboration with physicists and algorithm architects.
•Write, test, document, and maintain software for an industry-leading CT reconstruction platform.
•Optimize memory use across caches and shared memory using AI-assisted tools to improve performance on constrained hardware.
•Explore how learned models can approximate expensive physics with fast, accurate equivalents.

Salary: USD 89,000 - 141,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
•Strong foundation in C++ from professional experience, internships/co-ops, or a program teaching C++ (prior experience preferred).
•Exposure to GPU programming such as CUDA, OpenCL, or HIP, with interest in profiling and parallelization on modern GPUs.
•Strong mathematical foundation (e.g., linear algebra, calculus, numerical methods) and a plus background in image/signal processing and medical image formation theory.
•Familiarity with MATLAB or Python is helpful, and curiosity about applying machine learning to accelerate scientific or physics computation is a plus.
