Job Summary

Safely and efficiently support warehouse operations by pulling, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, stacking, and building pallets for accurate outbound shipments. Verify product quality and counts using bill of lading/receivers/pick tickets and warehouse systems, operate yard switchers, trucks, and material-handling equipment (including forklifts), and troubleshoot automation issues. Perform safety checks, quality control, and necessary cleaning/janitorial tasks while following food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely and efficiently perform warehouse duties including pulling, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, stacking, wrapping, transporting, and replenishing products and materials.
•Verify accuracy and quality of received and shipped products using records such as bill of ladings, receivers, and pick tickets.
•Count and inspect returns (damaged, full, and/or empty) and ensure correct inventory load outs and pallet accuracy.
•Operate yard switcher and material-handling equipment (including forklifts and other designated machinery) and perform required safety and pre-trip checks.
•Interact with automation systems/screens, troubleshoot and correct system errors, and perform basic cleaning/maintenance and janitorial tasks as assigned.

Key Requirements

•Pass the forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV material handling equipment.
•At least six (6) months of forklift experience is preferred.
•Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills, including sorting and grouping.
•Read and understand product labels and load ticket instructions, and count large quantities accurately.
•Be able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with exposure to hot/humid or cold weather conditions.
