Job Summary

Ensure a safe work environment while maintaining and repairing heavy construction and truck equipment. Diagnose malfunctions, operate/inspect machines to identify defects, dismantle and reassemble components, and use tools and measuring devices to assess wear. Replace major parts, test overhauled equipment for operating efficiency, and weld broken structural members. Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safe work environment by following safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
•Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance on heavy construction and truck equipment.
•Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects; dismantle, reassemble, and replace defective components.
•Examine parts for damage/wear using micrometers and gauges; test overhauled equipment for operating efficiency.
•Perform welding on broken parts/structural members, maintain required records, and follow manager direction for daily tasks.

Key Requirements

•Pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
