Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive new technical solutions across teams from requirements through application deployment.
  • •Collaborate with product managers and the design team to scope and shape product decisions.
  • •Revamp and update existing web applications, applying a “paved path” solution.
  • •Enhance and maintain applications for partners and internal stakeholders while streamlining user experiences.
  • •Operate in a cross-functional environment, removing technical debt and making decisions for long-term effectiveness.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience in software development with strong back-end development skills.
  • •Strong programming skills in at least one backend language; JVM languages (Java, Scala, or Kotlin) strongly preferred.
  • •Experience with microservice architecture, including operating and troubleshooting complex systems.
  • •Experience maintaining and improving legacy systems; evaluate tradeoffs across refactor vs rebuild vs buy.
  • •Ability to learn and use in-house software frameworks/components/services to build solutions effectively.
