Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive electrical DFM/DFA/DFT by partnering with hardware design teams during schematic capture and layout to optimize multilayer rigid/rigid-flex boards for SMT production.
  • •Define and integrate production test strategy and processes, including ICT, flying probe, boundary scan (JTAG), and connectorized functional verification (FVT) with test limits, pass/fail criteria, and fault coverage.
  • •Lead embedded hardware bring-up on the manufacturing line and establish production flashing, secure-key provisioning, and interface validation procedures over embedded buses/protocols.
  • •Perform engineering failure analysis and root-cause investigations (8D), including microsections and AXI inspection, and feed testability/design improvements from yield/telemetry.
  • •Qualify and audit EMS suppliers, manage transitions from eBOM to mBOM in PLM (Teamcenter), and author SOPs/work instructions for electronics handling and ESD control.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent engineering field.
  • •3+ years in electrical manufacturing, PCBA industrialization, or hardware engineering with board-level manufacturing and integration exposure.
  • •Proficiency with ECAD tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics/PADS) to review and redline schematics and layouts.
  • •Hands-on PCBA production experience across SMT, component placement, reflow profiling, soldering, and DFM for rigid and rigid-flex boards.
  • •Test process/DFT background defining test coverage and manufacturing test strategies, plus scripting/automation proficiency in Python or Bash.
