Key Responsibilities

  • •Mentor, lead, and supervise up to 20 employees
  • •Supervise the production flow within the tool shop, ensuring safety and the efficiency of the entire assembly shop area
  • •Work with the shop floor, manufacturing engineers, and quality teams to resolve recurring nonconformance issues
  • •Review work order instructions with planners and manufacturing engineers to ensure shop floor technicians have accurate and complete instructions, and if necessary, recommend changes
  • •Meet tight and moving production schedules
  • •Coordinate maintenance support during problematic situations
  • •Ensure all work is completed on time and to specification
  • •Evaluating team members through mid-term/annual reviews
  • •Provide regular reports on the shop/project productivity status
  • •Drive good communication and culture, enforcing systems and corporate policies

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency
  • •5+ years of professional experience working with plastic injection mold maintenance and repair
  • •5+ years of professional experience building new plastic injection molds from raw material
  • •3+ years of experience in leadership or as a supervisor
  • •Ability to interpret dimensional data and read mold/part drawings
