Key Responsibilities

•Mentor, lead, and supervise up to 20 employees
•Supervise the production flow within the tool shop, ensuring safety and the efficiency of the entire assembly shop area
•Work with the shop floor, manufacturing engineers, and quality teams to resolve recurring nonconformance issues
•Review work order instructions with planners and manufacturing engineers to ensure shop floor technicians have accurate and complete instructions, and if necessary, recommend changes
•Meet tight and moving production schedules
•Coordinate maintenance support during problematic situations
•Ensure all work is completed on time and to specification
•Evaluating team members through mid-term/annual reviews
•Provide regular reports on the shop/project productivity status
•Drive good communication and culture, enforcing systems and corporate policies

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency
•5+ years of professional experience working with plastic injection mold maintenance and repair
•5+ years of professional experience building new plastic injection molds from raw material
•3+ years of experience in leadership or as a supervisor
•Ability to interpret dimensional data and read mold/part drawings
