Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, perform root-cause investigations, and execute corrective actions for Starshield production non-conforming hardware.
  • •Contain suspect/known non-conforming product, drive failure investigation progress, and provide updates to technicians and leadership for quarantine and rework.
  • •Drive corrective action using yield and defect monitoring to identify common failure modes and data-driven decisions.
  • •Improve manufacturing processes and test coverage by collaborating with Integration & Test engineers for your products.
  • •Support continuous improvement of production through PFMEA reviews, process control/optimization, and removing redundant inspections to prevent factory escapes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or another engineering discipline.
  • •1+ years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or reliability engineering (internships and co-ops acceptable).
  • •Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.
  • •3+ years of industry experience working with electro-mechanical hardware.
  • •Experience with statistical process control and design of experiments (DOE), plus programming experience in Python, C, or SQL for data analysis and automation.
