Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent the company in all phases of Workers’ Compensation litigation in Illinois, including Chicago and surrounding locations.
  • •Prepare and defend moderate to high exposure Workers’ Compensation cases from a challenging and varied caseload.
  • •Work directly with claims professionals to provide legal analysis and advice.
  • •Prepare and file legal pleadings and documents, and perform legal research.
  • •Prepare for and conduct pre-trial investigations and hearings; manage post-trial activities including appeals when appropriate.

  • •Juris Doctor (JD) and 5+ years of experience in litigation
  • •Member in good standing with the Illinois State Bar Association
